PIA has entered into a Technology Transfer (TOT) agreement with Aquafrisch with the objective of localizing the equipment in accordance with Make in India guidelines. Under this agreement, critical components will be sourced from Aquafrisch in Spain, while non-critical components such as vertical structures, effluent treatment plants, dryers, RO water plants, air dryers, etc. will be manufactured in India and assembled on-site.
